Location shared with delegates after registration

AusBiotech Investment is AusBiotech’s year-round, event-wide broader Investment initiative, which focuses on strengthening capital engagement across the Australian life sciences sector.

Its purpose is to support both sides of the capital equation: helping investors better understand the Australian life sciences opportunity, while helping companies better understand investor expectations and pathways to capital. AusBiotech Investment will feature in the main program of the AusBiotech International Conference and the AusMedtech Conference, next held on the Gold Coast in October.

AusBiotech Invest (next held on the Gold Coast) is a specific event that will focus on the Investor’s side of the equation, while being a core pillar of Australia’s Biggest Week in Biotech.

The purpose of AusBiotech Invest is to strengthen the capital environment for the Australian life science sector through building investor confidence, domestic syndication, global capital attraction and

more coordinated pathways to fund high-potential Australian companies.

The Investor Readiness Panel is designed to support company readiness in general and to help identify opportunities that may align with investor-facing activities. Select companies not taking part in the IRP may be invited to attend AusBiotech Invest.

No however sponsors can apply to attend through the EOI as with other potential attendees.
Sponsorship of AusBiotech Invest is primarily a brand marketing opportunity, not a promotional one.

Investor input has highlighted the importance of ensuring the strongest and most investment-relevant companies are considered. Investors are therefore involved in the company identification process and provides additional market insight into companies attracting genuine investor attention.

Companies are identified through investor recommendations, venture capital and commercialisation networks, sector intelligence and strategic outreach. This broader approach helps ensure investors are exposed to companies with strong relevance, readiness and potential investment interest.
